Terms of use
Last updated: 17 September 2026
1. Purpose
WorkFloor (the “Service”) is a mobile app, available on iOS and Android, that lets you read and publish anonymous reviews of companies: culture, pay, management, benefits. These terms govern its use; accepting them is required to sign in.
2. Publisher
The Service is published by an individual who can be reached at workfloor@tutamail.com (see the legal notice, available from the “Account” screen of the app).
3. Access to the Service
Company pages and reviews can be read freely without an account.
Publishing a review, voting, reporting content or adding a company requires an account, created with an email address and password, or through Apple or Google. You must be at least 16, provide a valid email address and create only one account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
The Service is free. It contains no advertising and no in-app purchases.
4. Content rules
A review must describe your own, genuine experience at the company concerned, and remain factual and measured. Each account may post one review per company; you can edit or delete it at any time.
The following are prohibited: names or details that could identify a person (colleague, manager, client); accusations against a person; abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, hateful or threatening content; personal data (email, phone number, address); confidential information or trade secrets; fake reviews (written by the company, a competitor, in exchange for payment or without having worked there); advertising; any unlawful content.
Before each publication, you solemnly declare that you work or have worked at the company concerned and that you are describing your own experience. A review published in breach of this statement is removed and may make its author liable.
The salaries you declare are published without any link to your identity. Do not enter an amount if, combined with your job title, it could make you recognisable.
5. Moderation and reporting
WorkFloor acts as a hosting provider for the reviews published by its users (article 6 of the French law on confidence in the digital economy and Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services). Reviews are not systematically checked before publication. However, automated filters, including a text analysis tool supplied by a service provider, may reject a review or hold it for review before publication.
To limit fake reviews, a review from an account created less than 24 hours ago goes live automatically once that period ends, and reviews written during an account’s first 7 days count for half in average ratings. When a company receives an unusual number of reviews in a short time (volume, new accounts, extreme ratings, similar texts), its recent reviews are left out of its rating and new reviews are checked before publication; the company page says so. These checks never reveal who the authors are.
Every review can be reported from its “…” menu, “Report this review” option. Anyone can also notify unlawful content to workfloor@tutamail.com, stating the company name, the content concerned, the reasons why it is unlawful and their contact details. Notices are handled diligently and objectively; manifestly unlawful content is removed promptly. A review that receives many reports is hidden automatically pending review.
The status of each review (published, under review, hidden, removed) is visible to its author from their account. The author of a removed or hidden review can ask for the reasons and challenge the decision by writing to workfloor@tutamail.com; the request is reviewed by a person.
In case of repeated or serious breaches of these rules, the account concerned may be suspended or deleted, after the situation has been examined.
6. Anonymity
Your name and email address are never displayed. Reviews are published without any identifier and dated to the month.
As long as your account exists, judicial authorities may obtain the data we hold upon request; once it is deleted, we keep none. Avoid including details in your review that could make you recognisable.
7. Your content
You keep the rights to your reviews. You grant the Service a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce and display them in the app, worldwide, for as long as they are published. Deleting a review ends this licence.
8. Reviewed companies
A company can report a review it considers unlawful to workfloor@tutamail.com, under the conditions of section 5. Company pages are created from the INSEE SIRENE register. No review can be removed, edited or promoted in exchange for payment, and no company can request the deletion of its page solely because its reviews are unfavourable.
9. Liability
Each author is solely responsible for the content they publish. Reviews reflect the opinion of their authors, not that of the publisher. The Service is provided as is; we strive to keep it available but cannot guarantee it.
10. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the “Account” screen, “Delete my account” button. All your data is then erased immediately and permanently (email address, reviews, votes, reports, hidden authors); no copy is kept.
11. Changes and governing law
These terms may change; significant changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, please contact us first at workfloor@tutamail.com to seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent French courts; if you are a consumer, you may bring it before the courts of your place of residence, and the protective rules of your country of residence continue to apply.
